Garage Sale Fun

Saturday was the Greenwood neighborhood garage sale. Despite the rain and snow, about 100 homes participated. Tim and I spent most of the morning and a little bit of the afternoon walking block to block scoping for good deals on baby items, and boy did we find some! The baby now has his/her first Univ. of WA outfit, which I'm not as excited about as Tim is! We need some Husker gear in the baby's waredrobe, but that's a little harder to find out here! We loaded up on baby clothes, booties, bottles and lap pads! The biggest score for us was the REI piggyback kid carrier that we bought for $25, which normally retails for $165 plus tax! Hooray for garage sales! The only item we didn't find that we are looking for is a dresser for the baby's room! So now we must turn to Craigslist and search for a good deal! As long as the baby doesn't arrive tonight, Tim and I are going to look at a dresser that we called about yesterday! Hopefully we will get it!
