Rain, Rain Go Away

This was the scene in Seattle on Thursday night. Many roads were flooded and the rain just kept falling. We had our company holiday party at the Pacific Science Center that night. It was dumping buckets as we left the office. The Science Center is about 15 blocks from our office, so we ran to the Monorail, rode to the Space Needle, and ran into the Science Center. By the time we reached cover, we all looked liked drowned rats! Umbrellas did no good! Other than my socks being soaked for the entire evening, it was an enjoyable evening!
