New Adventure

(No this is not a photo of me, however, this is what I hope to look like on Saturday afternoon!)This coming Saturday I will be doing something I have never ever done before.....cross country skiing on a mountain! I have only cross country skied once in my entire life and it was on a frozen lake, which meant no hills involved! I was a senior in high school at the time, chaperoning a jr. high youth group event with our church. I think my motivation to try it back then was that the cute high school boy chaperone was also going. The two things I remember about the experience was 1. I had fun and 2. It was way better than downhill skiing! So I am hoping that this weekend proves the same! I hope to post pictures next week...if I survive! I hope to at least look like the photo above....still smiling!
