Secretary Check List (1966)

I came across a Secretary Check List from 1966. I had to laugh at the grooming section - seriously this was a part of the document!

GROOMING

• must wear hose (preferably seamless) - NO RUNS
• polished shoes - no rundown heels or scuff marks
• daily shower plus DEODERANT, shields if necessary
• clothing immacuately clean, brushed, no split seams, even heamline
• handbag in perfect condition
• manicure in perfect repair
• removal of excess hair from underarms and legs
• wear light perfume or cologne
• keep elbows smooth
• keep teeth clean and white
