little cabin in the woods
I survived my first winter camping experience on the Mt. Tahoma Trail System! This is a picture of the cabin we stayed in on Saturday night. As soon as we get our photos developed, I will add them! A few things I learned from this trip are:1. I like cross country skiing uphill rather than downhill.
2. I can carry a 25 lb. backpack while snowshoeing & cross country skiing for 4 miles.
3. Snowshoeing in the rain is fun (as long as you're not carrying a backpack).
4. I will not die from drinking water made from boiling snow.
5. Less is more when you have to carry all your possessions on your back.
Stay tuned for pictures coming next week!
