Whistlin' Jacks

On Saturday we celebrated Tim's aunt's 74 birthday. The family gathered for dinner at Whistlin' Jack Lodge near Mt. Rainier. Tim's aunt's family rented a few cabins here for the weekend. We only drove out on Saturday night for dinner and didn't stay overnight. We did go to one of the cabins for cake and gifts. Tim and I have always enjoyed eating out, however, now that we have a one year old, we find it much more relaxing to get take out and eat in. Kayla did well at the dinner table for a little while, but by the time our food arrived, she was ready to play. So Tim and I end up eating in shifts so that one of us could go play with Kayla in the gift shop or outside while the other one ate dinner. It's not bad, but we had much more fun back at the cabin eating dessert. Kayla could run around and not get into trouble there.
Side Note: We still haven't found our camera battery charger. I think there must be gremlins at my house that ate it! I hope to find it soon and then I'll be back to more exciting photos!
