Names, names, names

The baby name books are being returned to library today! Tim and I have FINALLY agreed on a girl's and boy's name! Hoorary, hooray! Now I won't have any more dreams/nightmares about our baby never having a name! Sorry folks, we won't be sharing a name until the baby arrives!

P.S. I'll post photos of the nursery as soon as we get a crib set up, which may not be for awhile since we are still waiting to receive one that is not damaged! Hopefully the fourth time is the charm...we'll find out this week!

Bottom up, please!

My baby is 35 weeks along! I had another dr. visit yesterday and the baby is growing fine and the heartrate is good, which I am thankful for. The only problem is that this baby is still in the breech position! It's time to get that head down and bottom up! Best case scenario is that by my next dr. appointment in two weeks, the baby will have turned by itself. Otherwise the dr. can try to manually turn the baby or a C-section can be scheduled for two weeks later. I'm not sure how I feel at this point about the dr. trying to turn the baby or about having a C-section, so I am hoping that the baby turns on its own by April 7th! Please pray for that!

Nursery

Yeah, we finally have a nursery for the baby! Yesterday we spent all day moving Tim's office from our second bedroom down to the garage. A friend came over and painted our second bedroom a.k.a the nursery! It's a light green. It almost looks like a light peppermint bon-bon color. As soon as we get the furiture moved in that room, I'll post photos! We are still waiting for the arrival of the crib. The first crib that we ordered arrived damaged and so we sent it back and are waiting on the replacement. Hopefullly the next one that comes will be fine!

The Bucket List

Last weekend Tim and I went to see The Bucket List. It's a comedy, however, don't forget to bring the Kleenex just incase some tears are shed (as they were in my case....I blame it on pregnancy hormones, but I probably would have cried anyway). This movie has a good message, part of which asks the following questions:

1. Is there JOY in your life?
2. Do you bring others JOY in their lives?

I think those are good questions for all of us to think about.

Baby Shower!

Here are some photos from my 1st baby shower, which was a month ago! Enjoy!

Whitney & Karly - The fabulous co-hostesses!

No baby shower is complete without cake!

Have no fear, that is apple juice in my bottle, however, wine was served at this event....not fair!

I have a feeling that Fischer Price will become very popular in our household...starting with the Ocean Wonders gym!

Pregnant mamas! Sara is due 5 days before me. We should take bets to see who actually delivers first!

Little Earthquakes

Little Earthquakes is a fictional book about four pregnant women and their stories of marriage, pregnancy, labor and motherhood. I give it two thumbs up!

going bananas

An Apple a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

A Banana a Day Keeps the Leg Cramps Away...

Yesterday I went to the doctor for another prenatal appointment. I told my doctor that lately I've been waking up with leg cramps. I've even had two Charley horses in the past month, which I've never experienced before. The doctor's advise to me was "eat more potassium, eat banans"! So on my way to yoga class last night, I stopped at the grocery store and bought myself a bunch! I'm not a huge banana fan, but I'm going to become one until this baby arrives!
